Enrty 2: The History

My lips twisted themselves into a thin, coy smile as I ascended the stairs. I felt the smooth wood slide  beneath my palm. William, where are you? You know you can't hide from me... I thought, reaching the last step ans looking around his quarters. The balcony doors hung open, letting the warm summer air waft through. Voices were carried to my ears, and out of curiosity, I tip-toed out onto the balcony.

The scene laid out before me was one of utter shock. My William, the man who had promised me that we would be together, was animatedly talking with a woman in an embroidered silk gown. His smile matched hers as they stood in front of the fountain, hand in hand. My stomach gurgled unpleasantly. They can not.....William would not.....NO. My world crumbled as he gently touched her cheek. Turning away, a tear slid down my cheek, and evolved into a flood of tears.

"Golma?" William's husky voice penetrated through my hacking sobs. He had stood stiffly next to me, and watched me carefully. I had hidden in his room, crying so hard that I hadn"t noticed that the sun had set.

"You!" I hissed out, raising my head. "You fooled me, thinking I wouldn't beleive that you were in love with a Duchess, let alone it be her."

"Gol-" William began.

"No," I interrupted. "How dare you lead me on like that." I saw the clenched jaw, the narrowed eyes, the pursed lips, and put them together. "You weren't even going to tell me!" The prince stood there in silence, letting me know that I had spoken the truth.
"I hate you!" My fist sailed out, meeting the bridge of his nose. With a slight moan, William clutched his face, gingerly probbing the bruise.

"You don't even understand! My father set up that meeting with her."

"Oh, of course he did. And he probably told you to hold kiss her hand, hold her cheek, and fall in love with her." I snarled angrily.

"You are a milk maid! It's not as of my father would have let us get married in the first place."

"You," I couldn't even think of a word that would correctly describe this... this... back-stabbing creature before me. "I thought you loved me!"

"Since when?" He stared at me, eyebrows raised.

I gave him a piercing glare. "I guess never. I'm leaving to go to someone that I know who will love me." I turned on my heel and stalked towards the staircase.

"But you don't love him, do you?" William's voice echoed behind me as I decended. I'll never love anyone, my mind thought angrily. Thanks to you.

* So... I'm just throwing out there that I may not have a lot of pictures for this blog. My computer likes to crash, and Seasons did not help. And I also know that these have been short entries. I apologize for that, and for the quality of the pictures. I still can't get a good drawing one. on the plus side, Seasons is great (or rather, the parts I tested before my computer crashed.) Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Americans, and for those who aren't, Happy Novenmber!

She would much rather study and visit other lands.

Lord Raymond

The best knight that the kingdom had seem in years, Lord Raymond rose to be the King's right-hand-man with little resistance. He's not afraid to use bribes or brute force, as long as his kingdom comes first. Despite his arrogant demeanor, Raymond is a gentleman towards ladies and very chivalrous.
